A computer repair technicianis responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting all computer software and hardware on a computer. He works either with a technical organization where he uses the latest remote technology to log in to and solves the technical issues of all end users or face to face by visiting the premises of the customers or clients.

Computer repair technicianinteracts with customers regarding their computer issues, installation and repair of hardware or software. He/she is also in charge for giving one-on-one or group classroom technical training to employees. After discussing the problem with the end users, he/she may provide relevant and best solution to the issues or upgrades to hardware and software.

Further, a computer repair techniciandeals with the irritating and annoying computer related issues, using his experience and special technical knowledge. He/she provides solution to a gamut of questions, ranging from how to turn on a computer to troubleshooting Internet connection problems. He/she may be a permanent employee of his company or most of the organizations hire these technicians on contract basis.
