Lemon Water – A natural way to supress appetite

Losing weight is the priority of all the people having those extra pounds and that extra fat around their waistline. But a lot of people reduce their diet in order to lose weight which may lead to hunger pains. Hunger pains can be reduced by eating real and natural food which will never add any unwanted fat to your body. Real food not only helps to lose weight but also can stop cravings to a great extent. A lot of people say that they are benefited with lime water and lose weight because of drinking lime water regularly. Though it is not scientifically proved yet many people have tried this and are benefited indeed. A glass of lime water in the morning with stomach empty is very beneficial from fat reduction point of view.

Even I am not sure about this yet I say that drinking a glass full of lime water every morning when you wake up may be very beneficial for you.

There are many claims and promises made by people on lime water.

Some people say that lemon water is very good to stabilize blood sugar level. Lime water contains more of water and thus it helps to increase metabolism if taken as a daily diet plan. It is also said that lemon water reduces weight. Well, this is not scientifically proved yet. Also, whoever claim that lime water helps them reduce weight must also check out whether it is for a short period or a long period weight loss. But still I will say that its good o drink it. Whether or not it is reducing weight and fat, it is a natural drink refreshing your body. So, having a lemon water glass just before your breakfast is good for your health. It contains fewer calories and thus it may also act as one of the best ways to weight loss.

Lemon water is also said to suppress appetite and reduce hunger craving.

Lemon contains pectin which act as appetizer but when you blend out lemon juice most of the pectin stick to blender only in the form of lemon rind. So, I guess that more than the pectin in the lemon, it acts as appetizer because a glass of lemon water makes our stomach full enough to avoid eating further.

Lemon is acidic in nature but it enhances the alkalinity of water when mixed in it. This helps neutralize the pH levels in our body. This reduces the effect of processed food which causes acidity in our body.

Although, benefits of such natural foods and drinks may not be scientifically proved. But people still claim their benefits due to their self experience. There is not any harm eating natural food or drinking natural beverages as they may naturally help you lose weight.
