The Lemonade Diet – Different Variations
There are several different variations of the lemonade diet drink. Some suggest that you drink 8-10 glasses per day; some suggest 6 – 12 glasses per day, so each individual must decide for themselves as to how much they will drink. It is always important for each individual to cover each and every base for themselves to be sure that they are making the choice that is best for them and not just following without guidance.
The salt water flush is a difficult drink to swallow but it is suggested to drink it quickly without pause so that you can get it down. Some individuals are able to do this, some are not. It is always a challenge but one must follow through to obtain results. Sometimes the flush does not yield the proper results the first time but it is just the beginning. One must wait and hope that the laxative tea will work its magic. It is also stated that if the salt water flush doesn’t work, wait until the next day before taking another dose.
When it comes to breaking this fast or coming off of this diet, it is very important to follow the directions that are given.
The body has to slowly ease back into digesting solid foods. It is recommended that each individual start with fruit juice, then soup, then solid food. The first two days an individual should drink only fruit juices. On day three fruits and vegetables can be added to lunch and dinner.
The vegetable soup can also be added to the dinner meal. On day 4, the individual should be able to begin eating solid foods. It is still suggested that one use soup for a few days so that the digestive system can get started on the right track with very few complications or medical issues. One thing that must definitely be avoided is an eating binge.
It would truly be a mistake to overindulge in food right after completing this cleanse.
